Unlike other exam-based certifications programs from other providers, the certification training for IIST education-based certifications is based on industry's best practices. The training modules provide practical methods and techniques that participants can use in their current projects. The Training Program for the CASTP - Practitioner Level consists of the following modules. These modules are available either through public training, online training or can be brought to you company and onsite for groups of 8 or more. You can click on the module title to see where it is offered.

This Three day module (also available online) satisfies the requirements of the Certified Software Test Professional - Associate Level (CSTP-A), which is a pre-requisite of the Certified Agile Software Test Professional - Practitioner Level. This Three day module is a hands-on workshop that teaches participants a test design methodology that is based on best practices in test design. Participants learn by using the methodology on real project requirements.
The CSTP-A certification will be awarded upon the completion of this module and passing the certification exam. Individuals wishing to achieve the Certified Agile Software Test Professional - Practitioner Level may substitute this pre-requisite with other certifications such as ISTQB foundation Level or equivalent.
2. Agile Software Development MethodsThis one day module (also available online) satisfies Area #2 of the Agile Testing Body of Knowledge (ATBOK). The exam for this module is conducted at the completion of this module. This modules introduces candidates to the agile methodologies and testing within these methodologies.
3. Discovering Analyzing and Managing Requirements in an Agile ProjectsThis one day module (also available online) satisfies Area #2 of the Agile Testing Body of Knowledge (ATBOK). The exam for this module is conducted at the completion of this module. This module introduces candidates to best practices in requirements and user stories.
4. Designing and Executing Tests in Agile ProjectsThis one day module (also available online) satisfies Area #3 of the Agile Testing Body of Knowledge (ATBOK). The exam for this module is conducted at the completion of this module. This modules introduces candidates to an agile test design methodology that allows them design testes that achieve the highest level of requirements/user story coverage.
CertificationsThe Certified Software Test Professional -Associate Level (CSTP-A) will be awarded upon completing the first module and passing the certification exam for this module. The Certified Agile Software Test Professional - Practitioner Level (CASTP-P) will be awarded upon completing the rest of the modules and passing the exam for each module. Candidates will also receive a Certificate of Course Completion after each module.

Attending the Training and Taking Certification Exams Online
Although you can register for these modules separately, you can save by registering for CASTP-P Certification Training online for $1,780 per person.
This price includes all six days of training, all certification exams and $100 certification fee for each certification.Upon registering for the training, you will receive access codes for all four modules and associated exams. You will have up to 30 days to complete each module and exam. The 30 days will start from the first access to the course material. During the 30 days, you can send questions to instructors by email and receive answers within 24 hours.
