Like all certifications awarded by IIST, the Certified Software Test Automation Specialist (CSTAS) is an education-based certification that candidates must complete a course of study to develop skills in the specific areas of the Body of Knowledge of the certification. Unlike other exam-based certification programs from other providers, the certification training for IIST education-based certifications are based on industry's best practices. The training modules provide practical methods and techniques that participants can use in their current projects. When conducted as group training at your company site, the training modules are always customized to address your teams' specific needs while staying within the specific area of the Body of Knowledge as approved by the IIST Certification Advisory Board.

The Training Program for the CSTAS consists of the following four modules. These modules are available either through public training, online training or can be brought to you company and onsite for groups of 8 or more.

The cost of the training will depend on the method of delivery you choose whether it is online self-paced, online interactive, public classes, or at your company site for a group of participants. Certifications
The Certified Software Test Automation Specialist (CSTAS) will be will be awarded upon completing all 4 modules and passing the certification exam for each module. Candidates also must have completed the CSTAS pre-requisites and the Job Experience requirement as stated here. You will need to apply for the CSTAS certification and pay $50 Graduation fee. Candidates will also receive a Certificate of Course Completion after completing each module.

Attending the Training and Taking Certification Exams Online
All courses listed above are available as online pre-recorded courses for $315 per course. You can register for the courses either one at a time or all at once. The total cost of all 4 courses is $1,300. Click here to register. Upon registering for the training, you will receive access codes for all four modules and associated exams. You will have up to 30 days to complete each module and exam. The 30 days will start from the first access to the course material. During the 30 days, you can send questions to instructors by email and receive answers within 24 hours.
