The field of software testing has been significantly evolving every year since then. The human race continues to rely on software testing as the only set of activities that insures that software systems are reliable and perform as expected. With all the great books that have been published on the subject, it is disturbing to see that members of the profession and sometimes even members of the same software organization do not speak the same language when it comes to the basic concepts in the software testing. We do not even have an agreement on some of what those concepts are. Even when I work with software test teams at corporations and government organizations, I see the inconsistency in definitions, practices, methodologies. A first essential step to establishing software testing as a profession is to establish common language that consists of terminology, concepts, and methodologies so that members of the profession can use to communicate. This webinar series, aims at establishing such language. Speaker Biography: Dr. Hanna is a recognized educator, speaker, and consultant in several areas of software engineering.
