Software Testing and Quality Certifications Facts and Fictions
For many years, professional certifications in any field have been critical to qualify people for the job they are supposed to do. When you hire a person based on the fact that he or she is certified in their field, you generally assume that the person has received certain level of training and education that enable them to do the job they are hired for and are able face challenges when needed.
We all agree that the value of any certification program lies in how it helps you become a better professional. After all, the purpose of getting certified to be able to do a better job as professionals.
In this webinar, Dr. Hanna will shed some light on the different certification approaches and how we can evaluate certification programs. More specifically, Dr. Hanna will discuss the education-based approach to certifications and how it help advance the software testing and quality profession. Dr. Hanna will also discuss the different certification programs available from IIST.
Dr. Magdy Hanna is a recognized educator, speaker, and consultant in several areas of software engineering. His distinguished seminars have been highly rated by software professionals. His experience with software goes back to the mid 1970's, when he worked as a developer at the NCR Center and the American University in Cairo , Egypt . Over the last thirty-five years, Dr. Hanna has worked in all aspects and capacities of software projects and processes.
